HEX TOKEN SUPPLY
What's the total supply of HEX, and will it change?
HEX total supply is fixed at 2,718,281,828.00000 HEX is an immutable token, and the supply will not change.
HEX DISTRIBUTION
Has 25% of the tokens already been distributed to the team?
Less then 10,000 HEX tokens have been given to the current team. As we expect to to fill key position on the HEX team, a good portion of the team reserve will be given to developers who contribute to building up the HEX DeFi products in the future, and those tokens will be released through smart contracts.
e.g. If there is a 100,000 HEX reward for the first team or community member who implements a bridge between the Cardano network and Hedera, and once the solution is implemented and verified, 100,000 HEX tokens will be awarded to the developer's account automatically via smart contracts. How soon or quickly these tokens are released affects the rate for the HEX ecosystem.
HEX Timeline
What's the HEX time horizon?
Like Hedera, we at Hashgraph Exchange have a very long time horizon. We aim to build products of which the influence and impact will last many years into the future
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Does HEX function like the Binance token?
Initially yes, in the sense that it is the medium of exchange for the transaction fees on the HEX platform. After liquidity pools are implemented, HEX tokens will also serve as one of the two cryptos in any base trading pair. Furthermore, once we list other tokens on our dex, all of them will be denominated in HEX.
i.e. HEX tokens will be used to buy and sell other tokens.
WALLET TRANSFER
Can I transfer HEX to another wallet?
Yes, as long as that wallet has HEX token ID 0.0.148698 associated with its hbar account.
CHROME EXTENSION
When adding HEX extension to Chrome, why does it say "Read and change all your data on websites you visit"?
This might look scary but this is basically a generic disclaimer from google.
We will keep you informed about this and other Google prompts.
